| In 2004, the constituents of Ward 4 elected Carson to a seat on the City Council. He remains an active member on the council, encouraging the economic development and overall improvements for the City of Laramie.
When he is not working at Bluefeather or participating in City Council activities, Carson is usually fixing up his building or in the mountains hiking, rock climbing or mountain biking. An avid outdoorsman, Carson loves the Laramie area and how perfectly situated it is between the Snowy Range to the west and Happy Jack and Vedauwoo to the east.
Seth Carson is also a 15-year cancer survivor, an experience that gives him a unique perspective for someone his age. All of his life experiences have made him very dedicated and a motivated individual.
In 2006, the Casper Star Tribune honored Seth Carson as one of the most successful people in Wyoming under the age of 40.
