Biography
Seth Carson has been self employed for the past 8 years and is currently a sustainable/green building consultant.
In 2008, the constituents of House District 45 elected Carson to a seat in the Wyoming House of Representatives where he has proudly served them for the past two years.
Prior to his election to the Wyoming House of Representatives, Seth served on the Laramie City Council for four years, two of which were as vice mayor.
In 2006, the Casper Star Tribune honored Seth Carson as one of the "top 40" people in Wyoming under the age of 40.
Seth grew up in Laramie, moving to town in 1989. He graduated from Laramie Senior High School in 1997 and attended the University of Wyoming, earning his BS Architectural Engineering in 2002. He is a huge Wyoming Cowboys fan.
Seth Carson is also a 19-year cancer survivor, an experience that gives him a unique perspective for someone his age. All of his life experiences have made him very dedicated and a motivated individual. He serves on the Albany County Cancer Prevention Task Force and is a cancer prevention advocate.
When he is not working for his consulting business, or attending legislative meetings and talking to constituents about their concerns, Carson is usually fixing up his building, rafting one of the many great rivers in the West, or in the mountains hiking, rock climbing or mountain biking. An avid outdoorsman, Carson loves the Laramie area and how perfectly situated it is between the Snowy Range to the West and Happy Jack and Vedauwoo to the East.
